Unmarried personal property

If two unmarried persons in a committed relationship are living together and he has bought her all of her clothes, shoes and other things without expressly giving them to her as a gift. What right does she have to these things should she chose to leave the relationship.

Most courts treat persons in an "unmarried" relationship the same as they would business partners. Where contributions to acquired property are not as important in a marriage they are in a partnership. However in the case you ask about, most courts would consider such personal things to be gifts and award them to the person to whom given.
