visitation

Court ordered by son to have his childrens visitation at my home, ( Mother)he thinks this is overnight. To me this is supervised visits. It did not say just overnite. What can we do to in the event he tries to take the children out of my home during his visitation?

It would be best if you had a copy of the written order or at least a copy of the docket sheet from that court date where the judge would have hand written the order. If you have one of those documents, then you can call the police if he leaves with the child. You can still contact the police without a written order, but they are less likely to do anything except document the call.

The value of documenting such a call is that you can then show the judge that he or she can trust you to carry out the orders of the court to the best of your ability. If there is a social worker from the state involved, then you would need to contact them in advance about your concerns.

Based on what you reported in your question, then I agree with you that the most likely interpretation of the order is that the visits are supervised.
