Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

my ex wife and i have joint custody, but i still pay child support we now have 2 kids underage i have had the youngest one (16 yrs old) living with me for a little more than 5 months and the oldest one (17 yrs old will be 18 in oct.) staying with me for the last 3 months i have called the child support they tell me to get a lawyer. i cant afford an attorney still paying the full amount in support. we are also supposed to have alternate yrs on claiming the earned income credit but she claims it every year on both kids. appreiciate any feed back thank you

You have to bring a motion before the court to modify the child support on the basis that there has been a change of custody. You would do well to call around and find out who might be willing to take your case at a reduced fee or with a small retainer up front.
