Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

My now ex wife was ordered during our divorce to split a Smith Barney account in half, that was 5 years ago and have only received a small amount> I know she has cashed out and closed the account but I've yet to get what was ordered. This is in Boone Count KY

She owes me about 20 thousand, is there a time limit if she doesn't pay but waits a certain amount of time then its too late for me to collect? I've held off but really need the money now.

Thank You

No, it is not too late to pursue via contempt proceedings in the original divorce case. You need an attorney to evaluate if a qualified domestic relations order was issued and/or if the technical grounds for contempt have been met.
