Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Kentucky
About 8 months ago my uncle was in need of a second car and asked me to sell my suv to him since i had just bought another truck. I told him i wasn't wanting to get rid of it yet, but i did deside to let him borrow it, well me being young i transfer the title into my aunts and his name, he bought another suv since then and told me it was still setting in his drive way. Well i have desided that i want to sell my truck and asked my uncle for my car back, i have talked to him and he said he would call me back later, and since then he has been avoiding me and i went to his house and my car is missing. I live in the state of Kentucky, and my question is legally is there anything i can do or have my family members just screwed me out of my car.

Unfortunately, when you transferred the title of your SUV to your aunt and uncle, you lost your claim of ownership. Unless you have a signed agreement in which your uncle agrees to pay you a specific sum of money for the vehicle, it is improbable that you will be able to convince a court to award you a judgment against him. Some of life's lessons are more expensive than others.
