Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Kentucky

Recently I paid a gentleman 700 dollars to install a pool, above ground 24x52, he insisted if you have any issues to give him a call, well as soon as it filled with water, it started leaking, now I have tried unsuccessfully to get a hold of him for two weeks, and he has not returned any of my calls, do I have any recourse as far as getting my money back for his service.

I guess the question is whether the problem was with the installation or the pool itself. The pool manufacturer may have offered a warranty, so you might check with them. The fault may not be with the installation. However, if it looks like the problem is something caused by the installation, maybe a tear, or something else the individual did when he was installing the pool, you can seek restitution against him in small claims court if he will not respond to your demand to fix the problem.
