Does the failure to serve process result in dismissal of lawsuit in Kentucky. And if so, how do you find out if complaint was served?

Re: service of process
If service is not made upon the Defendant, the court may provide notice that the complaint will be dismissed WITHOUT PREJUDICE (you can refile the complaint) if service is not made withing a certain period of time (usually 20 days).
