Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Kentucky

Can you sue your fianc�'s ex wife for defamation of character? If so, can you sue their homeowners policy for above mentioned? I read somewhere that a woman sued her husbands ex wife's homeowners for defamation and won;even thru appeals. This is what happened.

My fianc�'s ex wife continues to post remarks about me on her public Facebook page. Just recently she posted that her son "ran away" from our home while visiting and that his fathers "live in girlfriend" went to find him instead. She continues to say in her post that if girlfriend (me) hits her son one more time she is gonna have to deal with it thru court. First of all, I never hit her son. And her son never ran away from our home. He got into a argument with his sister an left to walk home to his mothers house. He is 10 and she lives too far for him to walk home and he did not tell anyone he was leaving. I did go get him and his mother is posting on Facebook that I was slapping him in his head repeatedly.

This is very upsetting to me as my soon to Be step daughter and my soon to be inlaws can see her post and these false accusations of me being a child abuser!! She had her lawyer send me a no contact letter and to tell me not to post things on Facebook about her (which I was not) about 6 moths ago. I only responded to a few private facebook msgs to her daughter regarding complaints of abuse her daughter had against her. Never would I post anything publicly about her as one it is very immature and 2 would never want the kids or family and public see such garbage.

Please let me know if I can actually sue ex wife of fianc� and how to go about it. Homeowners???
