Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Kentucky
This weekend my family and friends attended a haunted attraction where there were showing R rated movies before you entered the attraction. The ad stated recommended 13 and older. A friend of the family jumped in front of the TV dancing ( to distract for the TV) when a very inappropriate scene came on (the only way to explain was soft porn) and one of the guys running the attraction started yelling at him and didnt give him time to tell him what was going on. The guy called the police to have him removed but the police officer told him he had the right to sue them over showing that type of movie in public. It was very upsetting to the entire group and it ruined the entire night. I dont allow my child to watch that at home and was total unaware that that was going to be shown there. It was suppose to be a fun family night. Were just wanted to know if there is anything we could do?
