Probably not, if your physician followed the standard of care in providing you with treatment.
If you felt you weren't responding to the medication your doctor was prescribing you, why did you not seek mental health services rather than only a chemical course of action? Patients have to take personal responsibility for their health care and if a course of treatment isn't working for them, or if they are not happy with the care they are receiving from a physician, then it is up to the patient to seek help elsewhere. Just because a course of medical treatment is unsuccessful, does not mean that the doctor has committed malpractice.
However, only your medical records will reveal if your physician followed the standard of practice in treating you.
