Legal Question in Immigration Law in Kentucky

H1 B Visa

Hi,

I am vivek, and I just finished my Undergraduate degree in Sociology from one of the the Universities in United States. I am planning to get into IT field, and I wanted to know if it is possible or not for me to get a H1B Visa if I could into IT field.

You may be able to obtain and H-1B. The case would be easier to do if your job offer is related to a combination of Sociology/IT. For example, we prepared (and had approved) a case last year for an H-1B where the individual had a Degree in Hospitality Management and she went to work for an IT firm that designed a B-T-B databases for the Restaurant and Night Club industry.
