Legal Question in Insurance Law in Kentucky
i was stopped and given a ticket for no insurance. what is the penality for that and is it criminal if i dont own the vehicle in question in paducah ky.

If the vehicle was insured, providing the court with proof of insurance now will get the charge dismissed. The county attorney will make you an offer if the vehicle was not insured. They may still dismiss if the vehicle is now insured but was not before, or may offer diversion.
