When using a company email system and you send personal info thru an email, does the company have the right to search and read your emails? Who owns this ''property''?

Re: Email
The bottom line is ... yes. The company does have the right to search and read your e-mail messages if they are composed on company property, sent through the company server, or if you use your company e-mail address. Check the company's policy on use of electronic media, it should be spelled out in the policy.
