Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Kentucky
I am 17 and I have a 4 month old. I am a female. I live with my brother and sister in law, whom have custody of me . I do school online and I am graduating next month. I draw ktap (welfare) and foodstamps. I also draw wic. I 100% take care of myself and my daughter. A lot of different answers I have gotten on this and mainly the negative advice is because they are trying to convince me not to do it. I want to leave home. I have a place to go. How strongly would the police look for me and my daughter and what could be done if I was found

Depends if your custodians choose to report you, it wouldn't be difficult to find you. The result is you could lose your daughter. Unless there is something going on in your home that puts your safety or your daughter's in jeopardy, and if there is, you should call the Cabinet rather than run away, you should wait it out until your next birthday.
