Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Kentucky
My 17 year old neice is having a relationship with a 25, 26 year old man, who is physically abusing her. Her guardian for 9 years is my mother. My mother, who is nonconfrontational refuses to intervene. My neice and mother live in Mississippi. What can I do to help even though I live in Kentucky?

You'll want to contact child services in Mississippi, or at the very least, contact an attorney in Mississippi. There isn't anything beyond that you can do. And once the girl turns 18, it will be up to her to end the relationship and seek assistance as a victim of domestic violence.
