Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Kentucky

I am 17 years old, and i live in kentucky. I was adopted by my aunt at the age of 7 due to abuse by my mother's boyfriend. My aunt and I do not get along, and we have had physical altercations in the past. She is willing to sign any papers or do anything for me to move out before I turn 18. I have a job that pays between $400 and $500 a month, I have a place to stay (with my boyfriend's family, I would pay rent) and am still in highschool. I have straight A's and over $1200 in savings. I think I am competent to support myself. What steps need to be taken to make this possible?

You can either seek emancipation or someone in your boyfriend's family can take guardianship of you, if they're willing. Either way, you should visit a family law attorney in your town.
