It is not possible to give you a clear legal answer to your inquiry without a more detailed evaluation of the facts of your case.
Basically speaking, however, assuming that you are not married to the child's mother, you will have to obtain a judicial determination of paternity by filing a petition in the Family Court in the county where the child currently resides. Once paternity has been legally established, you can then ask the Court to grant you reasonable visitation.
