what do i do if my job does not want to comply with my dr's note?

Does this doctor's note state you have to be off work for a medical reason? If your employer is large enough, you get 12 weeks off unpaid under FMLA (the family medical leave act), and they have to hold a job open for you. Otherwise, pretty much nothing if it does not concern a disability, or you have some sort of contract, like a union contract.
