Legal Question in Employment Law in Kentucky
Overpayment
I work as a salesman, and when I was hired on I am paid on 1% sales ans 4% margins. Since my first paycheck I came to find out I have been paid 4% sales and 1 %nargins. My employer let me know on 10/31 and told me I need to repay $23,000 dollars to the company. What are my rights here? Do I have to repay and I I do when? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Overpayment
If your employer offered you to be paid on 1% sales and 4% margins, you performed work with this understanding, and the employer paid you accordingly; then, you should not have to repay any funds paid prior to the point that you were notified that your pay structure had changed. Your situation is a bit complex and I would invite you to contact me to discuss your situation further.
