Legal Question in Employment Law in Kentucky
Overtime Pay
At my company I am currently classified as a salaried worker, therefore was explained to me that no matter how many hours I worked during the week I got paid the same weekly rate... My concern is that recently I worked MANDATORY weekend overtime because of a company move and was advised I would be paid overtime, I worked 12 days in a row... When I received my next paycheck, they had paid me for 8 hours only of straight time, when I had actually worked about 18 hours of overtime... When I brought this to my manager attention I was advised that ''some salaried employees didn't even receive any Overtime pay''... Is this right? What can I do?
