Legal Question in Personal Injury in Kentucky

Depositions

I live in FL and have a lawsuit in progress against a driver living in KY. The defendent's insurance co. wants me to travel to KY to take a deposition. Since my hip was replaced as a result of the accident is there any way I can avoid travel? Can I give a deposition in FL or perhaps over the phone?

I would appreciate any help you can offer.

You did'nt say where the law suit is pending. If the court that you filed your law suit in is in KY, that's where your trial is going to be held. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN ! If you show a reluctance to properly prosecute your claim, it sends a message of weakness to the defense. What does your own attorney advise?
