Legal Question in Personal Injury in Kentucky

I am wanting to pursue a negligence case against a local motorcycle repair shop. Recently had tires replaced on motorcycle. Certified technicians failed to notice valve stem deterioration, and they were not replaced. The first Time the bike was riden, the rear valve stem came apart resulting in instant tire failure. Two people were injured as a result, as well as loss of property. The injuries sustained were significant on female passenger, which will cause future financial and mental issues. At later inspection the front valve stem is expected to fail also. After talking to other tire repair shops, any prudent person would replace the stems in similiar circumstances. The trained technicians had a civil duty to protect the owner and property. In most instances the repair shop (defendant) will replace the stems without cutomer approval due to their low cost and the importance to maintain air pressure on two wheeled vehicles. Valve stem replacement is apparant common knowledge. With brief talks with defendant, they assume no responsibility, and assure they would have been checked, with no problems found. Even with the pending failure of the front stem, the repair shop says there is no problem with it either. The shop was told at the time of work order, the bike would be used on a long trip and to make them safe by replacing stems. The shop shows no record on there report that they were replaced but no evidence whether it was requested. I still feel the common knowledge thing to do when replaceing worn tire would also to replace worn valve stems assuming they have the same age and condition. The price for two stems is appromitaley $25.00, Versus the injuries and property damaged as a result. The case will be in Kentucky. Wondering the possibilty at finding the defendant neglagent. Thanks for your time in this matter.

Looks to me that you've already established your case. You simply need to find an attorney to take your case on a contingency basis and move forward. You will have one year from the date of the accident to file suit, so move quickly.
