Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kentucky
My boyfriend moved in with me, lived with me for 1 moths, paid absolutely nothing. I supported him and his son. I found out he was cheating, kicked him out that day called him told him told him to get his stuffand get out. A month later I text him told him he had a week to remove his stuff from my home or it was going to the trash and his trailer would be sold. I contacted a friend of his and he convinced him to come get his stuff. I had moved it outside, after I had to pack it all up. This had been well over a month. The other day I received an email from him stating that he was taking me to court for theft for items not returned when he abandond them. None of which I kept or have. Everything was returned. His mail still comes to my home. He hasn't even gotten that changed. What responsiiblity do I have? He paid nothing for rent, I packed everything up and moved it out, and he left it for well over a month?

Since you returned the items, you don't have any responsibility. He'll have to prove that you still have items in your possession that belong to him. If he sues you, counter-sue for storage fees! And any mail that comes addressed to him, put back into the mailbox with "return to sender" written on the envelope.
