Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kentucky
I cleared an adjacent area of my yard of over 40 trees and this included a utility easement. My yard flows seamlessly up to the neighbors row of pine trees. Now I find that our neighborhood jewish population is cutting through my yard and the easement I cleared and now maintain as part of my yard, to walk to temple. The sidewalk is only a few steps further. I would rather they did not cut through my yard but I do not want to be a bad neighbor. Can I be sued if these people fall and break a leg while on the easement or my yard?

Possibly, if there is a dangerous condition in the yard of which you're aware.
I suggest posting a Please Keep Off the Grass sign.
