If there is an unpaid DELINQUENT tax bill on the property, you can pay it and file a lien. After a point, you can file suit in Circuit Court to get your money back or order the property sold to pay the bill. If there is no tax bill, you need tosee a local attorney to guide you. There are too many fact situations that you may encounter for me to advise you here. This is also the case with the tax sale.
