KREC hearings

July 1, 2004 the KREC implemented the criminal background check for new licensee's and those requesting reciprical license. I did have a misdemenor conviction on my record. 'wanton endangerment 2nd' which is my only conviction. Hindsight is 20/20 and I do regret the incident. However, will this prevent me from abtaining my license? I have passed both portions of the exam.

So long as the wanton endangerment 2nd chrge was prior to July 1, 2004, you should not have a problem. Contact an attorney
