Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kentucky
I live in a condominium (with an HOA) that has extensive internal water damage caused by neglect of the HOA to perform routine maintenance of the gutters and roof and siding. My insurance has graciously offered funds to repair my interior damage but my HOA has not reparied the external damages, therefore interior repairs cannot be made without the fear of further damage. I have had three leaks since reporting the initial water leak, two after being assured inwriting that the property is water tight. Not only is my interior living space in shabby circumstances without drywall in several places and daylight seen due to the necessary removal of wet, mold ridden, carpenter ant material, but my entire side of windows have now been covered wi tarps and plaxtic for nearly two months. I am living in shabby circumstances, with no relief in sight. This has gone on for over two months and I desperately need an attorney well versed in honeowners association/management company litigation. Please help...

I think you answered your own question: you need an attorney. You need local counsel to strong arm them into making repairs. Call around and find out who does real estate/contract matters and who can handle the matter affordably on your behalf.
