Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kentucky
There is a piece of mland behind my home that is not in our deed. My grandfather said he bought the land in the late sixties. My family has lived here since 1963. We have always taken care of the land. We are not having any trouble over the land but I was told that since my family has taken care of the land so long that I can have itput in my deed. Can I do this? No one has ever claimed the land.

You should get a real estate lawyer to help you "quiet the title," which will get you a proper deed. It sounds like you have title through adverse possession of the land. (You've been on the land for over 30 years, your possession was open and notorious, etc.; there's a list of criteria for adverse possession you have to meet.)
