Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kentucky
was in the process of buying a house through a realtor. My offer was declined with no counter offer, and the house is no longer for sale. I believe they sold it out from under me. Yes they did require $500 down and proof from the bank I could get the money. So is this legal?

If you made an offer and it was declined by the seller then that is legal. If you deposited $500 in escrow with your realtor, as is common, then you should not have lost that $500 and it should still be in escrow with the realtor.
