Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kentucky

A tree from my neighbor's property fell and is currently laying across both of our yards. Who's responsibility is it to take care of the clean up of the tree?

His tree, his mess. But you might as well start on the cleanup if you can. The longer it sits there and rots, the more damage to your property.
