Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kentucky
My wife allowed a friend to take over the payments on a truck, the truck had 12,000 dollars still owed, they are now stating she told them they only had to pay 5,000 dollars and it was theirs. The truth is 7700 dollars is still owed on the vehicle. It is still registered in my wife's name with money owed. The friend is 3 payments behind and have used the truck for 2 years now. What should we do to resolve this? We have three children and trying to make ends meet and can not pay 7700 dollars ourselves.

Sounds like you need to get the truck back from them and sell it to someone else. It is highly unfortunate you would enter into such a deal with a friend and not have something in writing. Seek a consultation with an attorney to proceed accordingly.
