sexual and age discrimination
what is a employer and the eeoc trying to do by making me sign a mediation agreement with out no stipulations in writing from my ex employer.

Usually the agreement is simply one that says you will mediate your dispute through the EEOC. One was sent to you and one was sent to the employer. If both parties are willing, then mediation is set up to attempt to resolve the dispute.
