Have I waited too long

I was injured 3 years ago on the job. The injury was caused while moving equipment. I feel the co-worker that was helping treated me roughly because I was female and he felt that I wouldn't say anything.A few weeks after this incident another co-worker got angry and rammed my equipment with his. This was still during the time I was trying to recover. I feel this was also because I was female and he could get by with it.The supervisor was notified and his only concern, was the equipment damaged. Since then I have had three surgeries on my shoulders and continued trouble with my neck. I wasn't going to try to take action until I realized that I will always have problems with these injuries.Do I have a legitiment complaint also have I waited too long?
