Legal Question in Traffic Law in Kentucky
Fleeing scene of accident
My spouse, driving with suspended license, fled the scene of an accident while driving my car. The plate was tracked to me and I am presumed to be responsible. I was unaware of this until contacted by the other party's insurance. My car was uninsured at the time of the accident. What are my rights and obligations. What penalty am I subject to, and how can I protect myself?

There could be criminal and civil penalties involved, including possible loss of license, jail and/or fine and civil judgment. You should contact an attorney about the matter to discuss it with him/her further.
