Can I as an adult put a claim on the estate of deceased father or claim social security since he was US Military personnel?

I'm afraid I cannot answer your question without more details? ie, what kind of claim? what is the basis for the claim? is there an open decedent's estate? is there an executor? if so when was exec. appointed. when did your father die? where did he reside at the time of his death?
