Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kentucky

Not sure what to do...Please Help!

My husband passed away April of 2005 w/out a will. We bought a business in 2000.. He has 3 living siblings & parents who all signed waivers after he passed, which left to my children & myself.. She found out they were not legally adopted, which left everything to me. It's been almost 2 years now & She still hasn't closed this... She is telling me she has to send papers to his family again to waiver. Please help me.. I have tried to contact her without any response.. She is draining me.. People tell me to get rid of her & hire someone else, but will I be obligated to pay for her services.. If so, this means I will have to start all over again.. I can not afford this..

Re: Not sure what to do...Please Help!

This question actually seems to have more to do with concerns about your legal representation. I am assuming that the "she" you refer to is an attorney. If my assumption is correct, you should send her a letter giving her a chance to sit down with you and explain everything. If she does not respond, then you can contact the Kentucky Bar Association with your concerns.

If the "she" is not an attorney, then I would need more details to understand what is going on and why the initial waivers are no longer valid.
