Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kentucky

Errors on legal document

I've received several legal documents from any attorney that is handling my fathers probate. It has his Date of Death wrong. There was also another date that was wrong and it was crossed out and another date wrote in, there was no initials indicating who made the correction. What I want to know is, is this still a legel and binding document?

Re: Errors on legal document

It is not advisable to work with a manually corrected death certificate. You should be able to get a corrected version from the funeral home that handled your father's funeral and burial. Inform the attorney who is handling your father's estate.
