My husband passed away and has no will. What will happen with our belongings?

I'm sorry for your loss.
Anything jointly owned will remain with you. If you own a house together, for instance, the deed (hopefully) said "joint owners with right of survivorship." You assume ownership without the property being probated. Same with personal property, money, vehicles, and such. However, if he had property he had sole ownership of, maybe family heirlooms or real estate or money in checking and savings accounts, it would be subject to distribution by the laws of intestate, and you would inherit accordingly. If you are his only heir, you will inherit the entire estate.
I recommend consulting with a local attorney if an estate needs to be opened and an administrator appointed to pay debts/ distribute assets. If you decide to go it alone, the following is an excellent resource:
