Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kentucky

In Kentucky is it legal and binding for me to draw up -my own will and have it witnessed and notarized - or do I have to have an attorney do it for me. (My estate is simple.)

You can do it, yes. However, I always recommend having an attorney do it for you, to be certain it is prepared correctly. There are requirements for wills that are statutory that, if you do not do correctly, can invalidate your will. Wills are cheap to draft. I'd recommend shopping around for an attorney to do one at a low cost.
