Land

I am in the process of getting a divorce and I am wondering what I am exactly entitled to as far as our home goes. We built our house on the land of my in laws. They have passed and the land was passed on to my husband. Am I entitled to anything in the divorce since I have helped pay for this house that we built there?

You would be entitled to a share but it would not be an equal share. Roughly speaking, the value of the land without the house and any increase in value that would have occurred without building the house there would be non-marital. The rest would be marital.
