Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kentucky

Legal Rights of my live in companion

I am not married to this woman and I want her to inherit all my property. My Sons will contest this.

How can I protect her?

You may execute a will leaving your property to virtually anyone you wish. I suggest retaining an attorney, make your wishes very clear, and have them spelled out in the will. You may also wish to clearly state that you intended not to leave anything to certain people. Those who find they have been disinherited may be angry, but if a will is properly drafted and executed, the Probate court will likely find it valid and enforce its contents.
