Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kentucky
My mom died in June and dad died last week. They own property (my childhood home I helped upkeep and pay bills for and just recently moved out of). I am 31 and the only living child remaining. My deceased brother has 2 adult children. They are under the impression, the property should be sold and split 3 ways. Are they entitled to any part of the property claim? Basically, the deed is in my parents name, and I understand I need to go through probate court. I just am not sure of inheritance rights of my two nieces.

Please accept my condolences on the death of your mom and dad. Very sad.
You get half and your brother's children get the other half.
Once again, please accept my condolences on the loss of your parents.
