I am going through probate on my fathers death, I have 1 half brother. I have been put charge per the court, I own the home my father lived in, in the home I found 2 cd's do I have to disclose them in the probate. My att. stated no, what the other sibbling doesn't know won't hurt him,. He was estranged from my father and the had no seen each other in 30 years when my brother was 3. I took care of my father and he lived in my home. I would just like another opion, so I do not have something come back on me later.

All property (with the possible exception of some survivorship property and insurance) owned by your father must be disclosed in the estate.

You are the personal representative of your father's estate and you are asking whether you have to disclose to the Court CD's titled in your deceased father's name?! Your duty is to disclose to the Court all property owned by your father at the time of his death, including the CD's. If you cashed out the CD's without making them part of your father's estate for division among the beneficiaries of that estate, you may face criminal sanctions.
