Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kentucky
Question about a will. My aunt bequeathed all of her estate to my mother and passed 11 years ago, my mother received her estate. My mother passed in 2019 and bequeathed all of her estate to me. Recently we received a letter and residual check from my Aunt's insurance company. Who should receive the check? My mother's estate(me) or my Aunt's second in line her brother? The check is below $1000.00

What was the check for, and who was it made payable to? Almost certainly the check goes from your aunt to her beneficiary, which is your mother, and then to you.
