Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kentucky

In the state of kentucky, if the the original will can not be found can a copy be used and if the revocable trust is nowhere to be found what is the procedure. my husband's sister is executor and is not forthcoming with name of the attorney or information to do with the will. she has not given us a copy of the will and has stated that he or any other member of the family is allowed in the family home and we would like to know where things stand on a legal standpoint and what rights he has as an heir the estate is still in probate

A copy of the will can be used, but you have to overcome the presumption that the original will isn't around because it was destroyed/revoked. You should talk to an attorney immediately if you believe the executrix is not performing her duties and depriving your husband and other heirs of their inheritance.
