Legal Question in Workers Comp in Kentucky

accusation of prior injury

I was recently injured on the job and needed and MRI, however the company that I work for is trying to say that it was a prior injury so I am still waiting for medical attention. I have records from my primary care physician that proves there was no previous injury, where do I go from here and who can help me?

I think you need an attorney. Is this a Kentucky injury or a Kansas injury? There are many factors which may allow you to choose whether you bring your claim in Kansas or Kentucky. In any case I suggest you contact an attorney for a consultation, which should be free until you sign a contract for representation. You do have a claim and the company is trying to horse you around.
