Legal Question in Workers Comp in Kentucky
My daughter had to go to the emergency room for heat exposure when her employer asked her to work outside with no shade during a city-wide heat emergency. We used our insurance to cover the cost - I asked her employer to pay the $150 co-op - they refused. Is small claims court an option?

Actually, a workers compensation claim should be filed, because she was injured in the scope of her employment. It shouldn't be a civil matter at all.
