You can file for bankruptcy, if you qualify for bankruptcy protection. I would recommend that you speak to a bankruptcy lawyer in your area. You can probably find one on this site. Nearly all of them that I know of will give you a free initial consultation to see if you qualify for a bankruptcy (you should ask them to make sure the initial consultation is free before you go in). If you are in need of a bankruptcy and qualify for one, the cost of the bankruptcy attorney is well worth it.

You can file for bankruptcy protection. The filing of the bankruptcy may create an automatic stay, which will prevent your creditors from being able to garnish your wages.

Contact my office at 225-910-8097 or email [email protected] to set up an appointment for an initial consultation. The initial consultation is free of charge.
