Legal Question in Disability Law in Louisiana

I have been on medical leave from my company(wal-mart) for over two years. I have gotten notice that i must return to work. I tried to return to work one day a week but they said no and fired me , they said it is unreasonable for me to work just one day a week and denied my ada. uppermanagement have stated to look into this matter as I fell I was trated unfair. there are others working only one day a week such as students , what are my right as a disable person?

ADA applies to persons hired or fired who have disabilities, not injuries. I suggest you look into long term disability or worker's compensation. I also suggest you contact your local or State Equal Employment Opportunity Commission,(EEOC)for their assistance. Otherwise, look for an employment attorney in your town and see what your options are based on your particular facts.
