Legal Question in Disability Law in Louisiana

bribing a physicians

Is it legal to send money with letters for a physician

to sign a letter which was sent to the doctor? The letter stated please re-type this letter on the physicians letterhead, sign and return to the attorney. Each letter, (there were two), was sent with a check coming out of the settlement on my part and I didn't know about until the doctors office called and stated they would no longer see me because he took the check as a bribe, and would not sign the letter because he took the information as a bribe character was destroyed by these letters sent without my permission.

Something sounds fishy to me. If you lawyer did what you said, I think you have a duty to report him to the state bar association.
